hi if you do the white spacer chances are nil that they would know .you will increase throttle response ,but will still have backfire or you could also drill out plug to enrichen low end then use a little latex caulk to plug back up latex is easily removed .btw air fuel mixture screw does more to decrease backfire than white spacer.i would suggest brass plug removal first.turn screw out i full turn at a time till back fire is gone Idid brass plug my adjustment is 5 turns out .this eliminated all backfire .white spacer gives you better midrange throttle response.
